 DUM MAARO DUM  HINDI MOVIE

There are huge expectations from the music of Dum Maaro Dum. Reason is simple - immense hype. Ever since this Rohan Sippy film went on floors, there have been talks about the edgy soundtrack that Pritam and lyricist Jaideep Sahni are supposed to have created here. Add to that the fact that a cult classic has been presented in a brand new avatar here only makes one further excited to check out what really is in store. Since the film belongs to thriller genre as well, expectations from the music too are on the same lines

Dhobi Ghat

Dhobi Ghat is an acquired taste. Either the film will sink into your skin like a slow ache or it will be bewildering and downright boring. Kiran Rao’s first film is an atmospheric mood piece. There is no overt plot – four lives randomly connect in Mumbai. There are fleeting moments of happiness and pain and the eventual realisation that the journey never ends. The struggle to survive and to connect is eternal.

The characters are Shai, played by Monica Dogra, an NRI investment banker who is back in Mumbai for, she says, a change of pace. Arun, played by Aamir Khan, an angst-ridden artist who has a one-night stand with Shai but has little affection or time for her the next morning.Munna, played by Prateik, a dhobi with dreams of becoming an actor. And Yasmin, a young married Muslim girl, played by Kriti Malhotra, who makes video diaries that Arun discovers.

These people intersect in the disparate spaces of the city – posh art galleries and narrow gullies in slums; the dhobi ghat and high-rises. Munna and Shai make a connection but can something too fraught and tenuous to even be called a friendship, transcend class difference? The fifth character in the film is Mumbai, a teeming city of migrants that remains unknowable, alienating, harshly beautiful and brutally indifferent. Kiran Rao and cinematographer Tushar Kanti Ray construct a rich and intimate portrait of the city. In places, the locations almost overshadow the characters – there is a terrific shot of Arun walking down the bustling Mohammed Ali Road during Ramzan.

In another scene, Munna covers his shanty from the torrential rain as local trains whiz by.
Rao also observes human behavior keenly – so when Shai first asks Munna to sit down in her up-market apartment, he hesitantly feels the sofa before placing himself down. And when Shai’s disapproving maid serves them tea, she brings one nice cup and one glass that befits Munna’s status. Prateik is achingly lovely as Munna but the star of the film is the luminous Kriti Malhotra who revealingly loses the hope and shine in her eyes.

This saga of love and longing is punctuated by a haunting background score created by Oscar-winning composer Gustavo Santaolalla. What doesn’t work as well is the pacing. Rao’s build-up of characters is painfully slow with the first 30 minutes or so being the most problematic. Some of the early scenes are clumsy and the disjointed narrative just isn’t engaging enough. I was also confused by the suggestion that Munna is having a relationship with an older woman customer – so does the dhobi routinely offer more than just clean clothes? Intriguingly, Aamir Khan, otherwise such a fine actor, strikes a false note.

With constantly furrowed brows, he seems to be performing at a different pitch from everyone else. You can almost feel the weight of being in an art house film on his shoulders - the early scenes with him and Monica are particularly awkward. Still, if you are willing to have patience, Dhobi Ghat comes together nicely. It has a poetry and melancholy that stays with you. I recommend that you give it a shot.

No One Killed Jessica
No One Killed Jessica is Bollywood’s first Hindi movie release in th year 2011. NoOneKilledJessica is an upcoming Hindi film starring Rani Mukerji and Vidya Balan, NOKJ produced by UTV Spotboy and directed by Rajkumar Gupta, who had earlier directed the acclaimed film Aamir (2008). The film NoOneKilledJessica will have music by Amit Trivedi, who earlier gave music in Dev D (2008). Vidya Balan plays the character of Jessica’s elder sister, Sabrina Lal, Rani is set to play a reporter. RaniMukherji and VidyaBalan played the lead has justified the hype surrounding Rajkumar Gupta’s film based on a true crime story that shocked many 11 years ago. The political thriller, set in New Delhi, was believed to be based on the controversial Jessica Lal murder case. However, later, the director clarified that the title and the script are actually inspired by a headline carried out by The Times Of India in 2006, when the accused in the infamous murder case were acquitted by the lower courts, leading to nationwide protests, reopening of the case and subsequent sentencing of the accused, and not the case per se.
Movie review of No One Killed Jessica – RaniMukerji, VidyaBalan given Marvellous performances, director Rajkumar Gupta created a mix of reality and drama in No One Killed Jessica. Storyline of the film was a widely publicised murder case, The film’s storytelling has impressed most of the critics. NoOneKilledJessica belongs to the unique genre of cinema. today india latest bollywood radio station

Bollywood appears to be inclined towards exploring rare illnesses/disorders/disabilities, with directors casting megastars in characters to raise awareness about the lesser-known ailments. In Ghajini, Aamir Khan had short-term memory loss [Anterograde Amnesia]. In Paa, Amitabh Bachchan played a child afflicted with Progeria. In My Name Is Khan, Shahrukh Khan was shown suffering from Asperger Syndrome. In Taare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan portrayed problems of Dyslexic children. In Black, Amitabh Bachchan was shown succumbing to Alzheimer's. In Karthik Calling Karthik, Farhan Akhtar portrayed a Schizophrenic.

This is not the first time that master film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has attempted a movie that has the protagonist suffering from a serious disability. In Guzaarish, Hrithik Roshan suffers from Paraplegia, a complete paralysis of the lower half of the body, including both legs, usually caused by damage/injury to the spinal cord.

Bhansali has always been known for two things. The first thing is, of course, the visual splendour in his films [which was quite evident in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Saawariya] and the second thing that he takes inspiration from various stories. The critically acclaimed Black was inspired from The Miracle Worker [a 1962 film] and Saawariya from 'White Nights', a Russian short story.

There's talk that Guzaarish is a remake of Christopher Nolan's Hollywood movie The Prestige, which, let me clarify, it is not. Guzaarish brings back memories of two films, which may be coincidental: The Spanish Oscar and Golden Globe winning film Mar Adentro aka The Sea Inside [2004], which, in turn, was based on a real-life story of Ramon Sampedro and Whose Life is it Anyway?, a television play, which was later adapted into a play [theatre] and much later into a film [1981].

Bhansali has worked himself to the grind and his presence is felt in every frame of Guzaarish. There is an inimitable intellect that Bhansali brings to his movies. Bhansali is also known to extract the best performances from his actors. In a light-hearted vein, I would go to the extent of saying that Bhansali has the ability to make a dumb man speak and a sightless man see. His devotion and dedication towards his craft is truly inspirational and motivating. In Guzaarish, Bhansali puts behind all the glitter and glamour and comes up with yet another unique and sensitive story told through a series of flashbacks.

Final word? Guzaarish is special in more ways than one. In my individualistic opinion, it easily ranks amongst Bhansali's best works so far. Just don't miss this one!

Set in Goa, it tells the story of an accomplished magician Ethan Mascarenhas [Hrithik Roshan]. Ethan suffers serious injuries when one of his magical trick goes horribly wrong, turning him to a Paraplegic. Confined to a wheel chair, Ethan becomes a Radio Jockey at an FM Station called Radio Zindagi. His show talks of hope, laughter and sunshine and it's difficult to imagine that the man behind it has been immobilized with a spinal injury for the last fourteen years of his life. Sofia [Aishwarya Bachchan], a nurse, takes good care of him; they share a silent love.

Ethan files a petition in court for mercy killing. This decision of Ethan leaves Sofia stunned. Ethan takes the help of friend-lawyer Devyani [Shernaz Patel] to support his appeal. Even Ethan's mother Isabel [Nafisa Ali] supports him in his petition, although Ethan is persuaded by his physician Dr. Nayak [Suhel Seth] to retract his case. Alongside all this, Omar [Aditya Roy Kapur] enters Ethan's life with the aim of learning magic from him. Impressed by Omar's love for magic, Ethan agrees to pass on his legacy to him.

Only a sensitive raconteur can do absolute justice to a challenging subject like the one in Guzaarish and Bhansali seems the right candidate for an extremely tricky theme like mercy killing/Euthanasia. The story is complex and can only be narrated by a storyteller who has the art of telling stories most convincingly. Sure, the protagonist in Guzaarish wants to end his existence, but that doesn't mean the film is disheartening or unsettling. Clearly, the writing [screenplay: Bhavani Iyer and Bhansali] is smart, taut and absorbing.

Guzaarish has a number of sequences that bear the unmistakable stamp of a genius. Sample these…

* The courtroom sequence and Aishwarya's outburst towards the end of it.

* The hearing of the petition at Hrithik's house.

* Hrithik's act going wrong and the near-fatal accident.

* The finale.

Any negatives? The generous usage of English in the narrative. The language is sure to act as a barrier in the hinterland specially. Agreed, the film is set in Goa, they are bound to speak that language, but despite everything, Hindi is a must for a pan-India appeal.

Irrespective of how his films fare at the box-office, Bhansali's films have always been embellished with rich and cherished music. The songs continue to linger in the hearts of the listeners with their dulcet and soothing tunes. After legendary Satyajit Ray and Vishal Bhardwaj, Bhansali is the next accomplished film-maker who has himself created the music of his film. The songs in Guzaarish are more inclined towards poetry that's earthy and contemporary. However, it does take some time for the listeners to sense the pulse of the music. 'Tera Zikr Hai Ya Itra Hai' is a limerick to exquisiteness, 'Sau Gram Zindagi', with its philosophical tone, leaves a lasting impression, the title track 'Guzaarish' casts a spell on you and 'Udi' is, of course, memorable.

Guzaarish has been magnificently shot. The indoors as well as outdoors [the gorgeous panorama] add so much to the film. There's no refuting that cinematographer Sudeep K. Chatterjee has created some really alluring and enthralling visuals. The very effective and subtle background score [Tubby and Parik] of Guzaarish is its very backbone. The feelings of intrigue, anxiety, anguish and romance come across so well. In fact, for the very first time, I felt that I was not hearing the background score, I was feeling it. Dialogue [Bhavani Iyer and Vibhu Puri] belong to high standards that touch your soul. Costumes [Sabyasachi] are absolutely wonderful; they gel well with the setting and mood of the film.

Hrithik and Aishwarya are seen in a lackluster facade and that's what makes the characters so plausible. While Hrithik is seen sporting a beard and has even put on weight, Aishwarya is seen in sober outfits. In fact, the two actors have gone through a drastic appearance change and both pressurize you to believe that they are indeed Ethan and Sofia. It must be said that Hrithik and Aishwarya exude a certain dignity and elegance, much needed for a sensitive film of this magnitude and caliber.

It must have been an arduous task for Hrithik to carry off the Paraplegic character of Ethan Mascarenhas, but he depicts the part with flourish. It's a great risk in filmy norms to have the hero of the film almost entirely on a wheel chair, but Hrithik has never hesitated or been irresolute in putting himself to adverse conditions, in order to achieve excellence, in whatever character he chooses to depict. Kudos to Hrithik for accepting a role that's truly opposite to his larger-than-life image and portraying it with elan.

Aishwarya, as Ethan's nurse, who is the epicenter of his world, has approached this role with rare understanding, not going overboard even once. So effective is she that she not only influences you but also compels you to believe that their love is solid in its quiet strength and also spirited in their verbal sparring. The sensational chemistry, which sizzled the silver screen in Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa Akbar and won hearts all over, sizzles yet again, but this time in a distinctive aspect.

Aditya Roy Kapur is truly outstanding in a pivotal character. Shernaz Patel is exceptional. Nafisa Ali makes her presence felt in a small but significant role. Suhel Seth is in terrific form. Moni Kangana Dutta is okay. Vijay Crishna [judge] is effective. Rajit Kapoor does complete justice to his role. Makarand Deshpande leaves an impression. Ash Chandler and Achint Kaur lend good support.

On the whole, Guzaarish is an invigorating tale. Bhansali, as a film-maker, has scaled several notches above his past accomplishments to create a near-perfect cinematic experience. The highpoint of the motion picture is the magnificently penned story of an incapacitated and debilitated man who desires to end his being with dignity. The film seduces the viewer with a strong emotional quotient, soulful music and of course, the crackling and wonderful onscreen chemistry between Hrithik and Aishwarya. Without doubt, Guzaarish is one of the most profound, insightful and enriching dramas of the year.

 Kaccha Limboo

Hindi cinema is going through a major metamorphosis. Innovative ideas and fresh stories are being developed and executed by Gen X storytellers.
Bheja Fry director Sagar Ballary tries to attempt something different from his maiden attempt. But before I begin to analyse Kaccha Limboo, let me clear a misconception. This one is not a comedy, and not remotely similar to Bheja Fry.
I couldn't help but recall three films while watching Kaccha Limboo - Gulzar's Kitaab [1977], Ritwik Ghatak's Bari Theke Paliye [Bengali, 1959] and celebrated French director Francois Truffaut's The 400 Blows a.k.a Les Quatre Cents Coups [French, 1959].
These three films had great stories to tell [of a misunderstood adolescent], but among the three, Kaccha Limboo bears a striking resemblance to Kitaab, which, in my opinion, ranks amongst Gulzar's best works.
However, unlike Kitaab, which remains well etched in our memory even after three decades, Kaccha Limboo runs out of gas after an interesting first hour.
Kaccha Limboo suffers due to a sketchy screenplay, also penned by Ballary. In fact, the post-interval portions ruin the impact that was beautifully created after a fairly engrossing first hour.
Shambhu [Taher Sutterwala] is a 13-year-old teenager who falters consistently. Trouble at school, peer pressure and a half-baked romance, all contribute to his woes. A huge fight with some local boys and a stern warning from the school principal deepens his crisis, and running away from home seems like a solution.
On his journey of self-realisation and discovery, Shambhu bumps into Vitthal [Chinmay Kambli], an extremely smart kid who belongs to a nearby fisherman colony. Shambhu is mesmerised by this new world he encounters with Vitthal. Everything is in such stark contrast to the world he had just left behind.
And everything works just fine until a sudden turn of events force Vitthal and Shambhu to set out on a train journey in search of a place where they can find the freedom they desire. Kaccha Limboo starts off really well, with Ballary handling the material with great care. Childhood can be a delight, but in today's chaotic world, the kids are often exposed to the realities of adulthood very early in their life.
The incidents depicted in the film's first hour [peer pressure, puppy love, familial frustrations and high-school dilemmas] seem so real, as if they were borrowed from your, mine, our lives. The incidents, anecdotes, occurrences and episodes are worth noting, especially Shambhu's interaction with his classmates and also with his parents [with his father in particular].
In fact, the viewer is introduced to Shambhu's grumpy and irritable nature at the very outset, when Vinay Pathak and Rukhsaar, family friends, are invited home for dinner. The kid experiences the lonely stages at home and also at school and the film offers an insight into the emotional confusion that he experiences, besides creating a touching awareness of his unspoken agonies.
But, like I pointed out earlier, Kaccha Limboo goes haywire in the post-intermission portions. One expects Ballary to come up with a much better second hour, but you feel exasperated after a point. And the film ends abruptly.
Ballary has injected a couple of songs in the narrative and though at least two numbers are decent, the song in the fishermen colony was just not required. I would like to make a special mention of the dialogue, which are wonderful at places.

Talking of performances, Sarika is natural, while Atul Kulkarni handles his part with ease. The show actually belongs to the kids - Taher and Chinmay - who are the real stars of the enterprise.
Taher delivers a spontaneous, deep and convincing performance, while Chinmay catches your attention with a splendid performance. In fact, it is Chinmay who makes vital portions of the second hour come alive with his bindaas portrayal.
The remaining kids, each of them, are complete natural. Rajesh Khattar is effective. Iravati Harshe does well, but where does she disappear suddenly? Bhairavi Goswami gets no scope. Vinay Pathak, in a cameo, is passable. Ditto for Rukhsaar.
On the whole, Kaccha Limboo comes across as an unripe and undeveloped effort. Disappointing!

Hiss movie depends lot upon your belief; the biggest confrontation is being staged here between science and mythology. In the present era of scientific technology how would you take transformation of snake into the woman? Above all it is quite indigestible to see a woman romancing the deadly reptile. It brings more of disgusting feeling than the thrilling experience locating snake woman licking snake and making love with her.
But Mallika Sherawat in Hisss

movie has enacted this transformation of seductress female into venomous cobra and she is very much boastful of her portrayal as snake woman. She defines her character as of female superhero who tends to give tough competition to Hollywood’s superheroes Superman and Spiderman.
The city is haunted by lady cobra enacted by Mallika Sherawat who enters into the city in search of her partner. She tends to finish off entire human race as her partner is being hunted by an American who is in the pursuit of Naagmani for the treatment of his cancer. She appears to goddess to traumatized women on earth and rescues them. She is very dangerous as a person bitten by her begs for forgiveness but she eats her prey alive, much like an anaconda. The whole scenario upsets an investigating cop played by Irfan Khan who is confused over the mysterious killings in the city. Divya Dutta is playing his wife who is a social activist.

The movie Hiss boasts of unusual visual effects in the sequences of transformation of woman into snake but it generates nothing except disgusting feelings. Mallika Sherawat has hissed more than mouthing dialogues which may be acceptable. The screenplay falters at several places. The uneven editing makes the movie look un-assembled. The movie relies more on Mallika’a sexy transformations than her acting competence. It has got electrifying skin show by snake woman when she sheds her skin to come into snake’s one that definitely raises your hair in the name of thrilling experiences. Rest is the same old story said in several films on naagin.

So far as performances by ace actors are concerned Irfan Khan remained confused cop constantly; he does not know whether to believe science or myths. And he does not offer much of his caliber. His natural part could be seen when he share screen space with Divya Dutta as his wife.

A sleek, stylish, suave, racy James Bond kind of thriller, Don is fairly entertaining. The film being a remake is bound to draw comparisons with the original version which was a hit. Nonetheless Farhan Akhtars Don is much more contemporary and stylish in look as compared to the original Don. There are a few added twists and turns in the remake and the screenplay has been executed with extreme finesse. The special effects, action sequences and Shahrukh Khan as Don in a negative avatar as well as in a double role adds its own personal appeal for the new smartly packaged Don.

The film has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and directed by Farhan Akhtar. With creative inputs from the original story writer Javed Akhtar, Farhan manages to give certain new dimensions to the film while retaining the basic essence of the original Don. The music of the film has been composed by Shankhar, Ehsaan and Loy and the film stars Shahrukh as Don and Vijay, Priyanka as Roma, Arjun Rampal as Jasjeet, Kareena Kapoor as Kamini, Isha Koppikar as Anita, Om Puri as Mallik, Chunkey Pandey as Ramesh, Pawan Malhotra as Narang, Boman Irani as D Silva, Sushma Reddy and Diwakar Pundit.

Drug trafficking business is flourishing and the hub of the trade has just shifted to Malaysia. The drug mafia is headed by leader Singhania (Rajesh Khattar) who co ordinates everything, but it is Don who is responsible for the day to day operations and success of the drug trade by and large. An Interpol officer D Silva has been working on making inroads to crack the drug trade since quite a while, he knows everything there is to know about the inside workings of the drug business which is at its peak. However now all he needs is hardcore evidence and hence he comes up with a plan to infiltrate the dreaded drug mafia by placing one of his own men on the insides. D Silva trains a man named Vijay for this secret mission where even his own department is kept in the dark about his plans. Vijay bears a striking resemblance to one of the most wanted men on Interpols list i.e. Don.

Somehow Don is captured and D Silva sets up Vijay in his place. Vijay provides D Silva with a lot of vital information and hardcore evidence about the workings of the drug Mafiosi. Unfortunately the twist in the tale arises when D Silva is killed during a raid and now the secret about Vijays true identity is buried with him. Vijay tries his best to convince the cops of his true identity but alas no one is ready to believe him, except those who have worked side by side with Don, the members of his gang are convinced that this young, bumbling and unsure man cannot be their boss. So now they want revenge and are ought to get Vijay and at the same time Vijay also has to clear his name and prove his identity to the cops. Vijay manages to escape the mafias cronies and the cops and sets out in search of evidence to clear his name, in his mission he is helped by Roma and Jasjeet who have their own personal scores to settle with Don.

Farhan Akhtar has managed to come up with a technically proficient film which has loads of style, the special effects are really good and visually the film is first class. Farhan adds more twist and turns in his script which manage to keep the audiences engrossed and his screenplay comes across as spontaneous and energetic. Farhan has maintained the basic essence of the film but has changed the flavour making it more polished and sophisticated. The action sequences and the chase sequences are brilliantly executed and make for great visual display. Farhan has interwoven suspense and the adventurous thrills quite well in the remake. The climax is refreshing and interesting and makes way for perhaps another sequel.

Nonetheless there are certain flaws that come to the fore, the characters are not detailed and drawn out as seen in the original where each character had their own shades. A few twists and turns do leave the viewer a bit confused, such as how did Kamini actually die and other loopholes. Also the length of the film again seems to exceed and even the events could have unfolded at a racier pace making the film even more exciting. Also the intensity and emotional content of the characters seems a bit lacking in the remake.

Music by Shankhar Ehsaan Loy is situational to the film, the tracks which have been retained from the original like Ye Mera Dil and Khaike Paan Banaraswala even though they have different beats manage to create a nostalgic effect and their picturisations too are appealing. The Don Theme sound track is impactful. Cinematography by Mohanan which depict locales of Malaysia and Paris are simply a class apart and breadth taking. The special effects by Red Chilies SFX are top notch. Some of the old catchy dialogues along with a few new ones delivered in SRKs inimitable style make an impression. Action sequences are note worthy.

SRK as Don gives the character his own personal style and does well in both his roles. His charm and charisma come across in his demeanor and attitude. SRK in a negative role after a long time definitely excels. There cannot be any comparisons with the original don Amitabh Bachchan as each has their own individualistic style. Priyanka Chopra delivers an adequate performance in her role, Kareena too is fare in her bit role, and Arjun Rampal is strictly average in his portrayal as Jasjeet. Isha Koppikar looks good but does not have much to do. Boman Irani slips into his role with extreme comfort and is extremely good as D Silva. Om Puri has limited scope, Pawan Malhotra is a first rate actor.

Overall Don is a super stylish flick that has suspense, thrills and a great visual appeal; the film will be appealing to the younger generation especially for those who have not seen the original version. The festival season will only enhance its appeal at the box-office and those looking for something apart from the family drama will not be disappointed at all. Moreover Shahrukh fans are in for a treat with his double role. A thorough entertainer and thriller.

Independent films often hold a promise. You know that they are made of lesser money and more passion. But the passion for filmmaking does not always make a good film. There are a lot of elements that are required to sustain the audience's attention. Yeh Faasley falls because it tends to tire you out rather than keep glued to your seat.

Yeh Faasley is an absolutely slow journey. Having said that, it's undeniable that the film has a very good story! A human drama and battle of emotions pitched into a murder mystery is refreshing. Also the fact that the truth could be so much more than what someone sees, hears or is informed is a concept that is very rarely handled.

Yeh Faasley is about father-daughter relationship. As Arunima Dua (Tena) is glad to back with her father Devender Dua (Anupam Kher) after staying away for quite some time because of her education. But things turn sour as she stumbles upon clues which point finger towards her father, indicating he is not really the person he is and neither was he true about the death of Arunima's mother. What ensues is Arunima's struggle to find the truth and that distances her from her father - and also makes her feel quite guilty.

The writers establish the characters very well early in the story. The last few minutes of the film are very well handled.

The story takes twists and turns, turning up a new surprise every time you think it is over. However the way it moves ahead is not quite welcome. A slow, bookish pace is not appreciated. And the director adds to it by constantly repeating shots to emphasize on effects he wants to create. He loses the game and our attention. Yeh Faasley could and should have been shorter by half an hour.

Technically, the film is a misery. Its grainy look does not help and things only gets worse when you find certain scenes completely out of focus, as if it has been shot on a handy-cam!

What manage to hold attention throughout the film are performances. Anupam Kher and Tena have good roles and do complete justice with superlative performance. Pawan Malthotra is measured and good as usual. Rushad Rana does his bit.

But performances never made a film good. Yeh Faasle fails. You won't miss much if you give this a pass. Rather you could save some time.

* The finale.

Who loves Indian films and Indian film music? For me, as most of the world, took this lush, colorful, romantic and just-plain-fun genre is in one word: Bollywood.I admit that I to do with Bollywood and have taken, though not in the same degree as my niece, who has a number of Indian films and regularly rents others. The Bollywood is well so deep that I limit myself to watch those few of his productions, the bubble to catch the attention of American film critics. Otherwise I would be lost in the Indian Ocean from unknown movie titles, actors and actresses. My niece also collects CDs of Bollywood music. There is an Asian market near her apartment, which offers a cornucopia of them. But they have the same problem of selection of CDs has to buy that I decide what Bollywood film may be worth my time. If they had seen the film comes from the soundtrack, it is usually in the dark about whether a particular CD’s songs and artists that they enjoy. Is
At their request I made a way for them to live preview are a variety of Bollywood songs and even with them on their iPod for a while, all for free. This way they can make decisions about the CDs they bought at last.
First, I searched for Indian music and Bollywood websites dedicated specifically for those, or at least in modern popular music (as opposed to, say, to classical Indian ragas). I found some good, with names such as Bollywood and India World FM. Most of the websites I track samples, found that offered 30-second or 1-minute snippets. Some had full audio streams, which allows the visitor a continuous Bollywood music, as long as he was able to listen or want it. It was this latter that the first half of our solution. Normally, streaming audio, like what you hear on an Internet radio station can not be saved or downloaded. New software, but it’s possible to record the stream to the HDD to play as many times as you want. Even better, some of the latest audio-capture software has something called MP3 Splitter. This software is able to break the audio stream into separate files MP3 song. By the way, this is completely legal because you just refer to a recording of a program, the same as when recording a TV show on your VHS. Voila – we had the second half of our solution
